Come and visit the most wonderful pike, trout, fly and coarse fishing waters in Europe’s largest inland waterways. As our guest, you will experience excellent fishing on our lakes and rivers. At Castlehamilton, Killeshandra, we have 2 private lakes for your use and 25 lakes within a 3 km radius all connected by the Castle River. Killeshandra, Co Cavan is a centre of excellence for coarse angling in Ireland.
Our service provides you and your friends with the opportunity to visit this beautiful area to experience our wonderful waterways which has over 400 rivers and lakes. Castlehamilton Self Catering Cottages provides luxury Four Star Failte Ireland approved accommodation and is located beside the lively town of Killeshandra, Co Cavan, Ireland. In the town, at the entrance to the Estate, there are ample services, 4 restaurants, 3 supermarkets (open on Sunday), bank, post office and 6 pubs. Shops are located within a 5-10 minute walk and the cottages are ideal for families, anglers and groups.

There are very large fish in our local waters, up to 1 metre 20cm. Fishing on the lakes and rivers is free and you can have 2 rods per person.
The owner of the property lives on sites and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure that your holiday is enjoyable and we will assist you in ensuring that your holiday is successful and that you catch lots of fish.
